Bloomington & Cleveland

December 12, 2004 By Brian Leave a Comment

This week, more audio from my Illinois swing last November. This week, it’s Bloomington.

What prompted the Illinois swing was a radio geek whirlwind tour of Chicago, including several transmitter tours and a pretty cool visit to the swank new Clear Channel/Chicago facility. (It’s also where Scott Fybush got to do something the rest of us haven’t quite been able to forgive him for. ) One of our fellow geekers on the tour, Mike Ward, has presented us with some new audio from Cleveland, and that’s part of the new stuff today also.

Introducing Tophour For 2005

Springfield, IL

December 5, 2004 By Brian Leave a Comment

Last November, I did an ID run through the state of Illinois on my way to a radio geek outing in Chicago. One of the stops on that tour was the state capital of Springfield, and that’s the newness for today.

Decatur, IL

I’m breaking out more new ID audio from my Illinois swing last November. Welcome to Decatur, population nine IDs. (There’d be 11, but not all the stations did IDs, including a certain three letter call AM that I was disappointed to miss. </gi-normous_geek>)

I have whined in these updates about the backlog of IDs in my e-mail for the last time. With this update, everything from the e-mail and FTP server is now posted on the site.

Thrill!
To the new audio from Atlantic City, New York City, Norfolk-Virginia Beach, Oklahoma City, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Portland (OR), Portsmouth, Providence, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Shreveport, Tampa, Tulsa and Wichita.

Thanks!
To contributors aplenty: Chris Coleman, Brian Watford, Monte Johnson, Jeff Lehmann, Jack Gittings, Eric Stein, Andrew Henderson, Christopher Cuomo and Lou Pickney.
