There are a lot of FM stations in Denver, too. And I’m too brain-fried from filing translator applications for Fybush Media clients to come up with very much clever to say about them – so I’ll just leave you with the lower half of the Denver FM dial, nearly complete from August 2017. (I think I didn’t get KJMN on 92.1 or KBCO-HD2 on 97.3 in this batch.)
There’s a lot of Long Island, really – and we didn’t even do the last 20 miles or so out to the eastern eastern eastern end of Montauk when we were there in July. But we did get pretty much all of the island’s IDs, which are now all up on the site – and we had a great time hanging out at WLNG, which you can see at Tower Site of the Week this week.
Consider: a half a century ago, there were barely a dozen radio stations serving the entire 100-mile length of Long Island. Now? We recorded more than 40 stations during our two-day visit in July, and that’s not even counting HD2s and translators! The first half of our visit is up now on Site of the Week, and you can hear IDs from the western half of the island now on Toppy, with the rest coming next week.
It’s kind of a weird mash-up of an update this week, as we keep playing catch-up on some recent Site of the Week postings. We promised you a batch of London, Ontario IDs to go with our Site of the Week looks at that market (here and here), and here they are, a new market on the site.
And we showed you a little bit of Columbia, Missouri on Site of the Week a few weeks back, which prompts us to give you more IDs from the tail end of our cross-country drive this past April: new material from the Columbia-Jefferson City MO, St. Louis MO-IL and Effingham IL markets.
