I’m having no better luck making a funny about Maine than Brian did a few weeks back – so I’ll just throw up a whole bunch of June 2005 material from Portland and Augusta (which we define broadly as including pretty much everything in mid-Maine between Bangor and Portland), and hope for warmer weather soon. (Maybe it’s time to dig out my San Juan legals from 1996…)
…and so is the seventh of December, at least here at Toppy Northeast, and that has us thinking about New England. Today, the first of several installments from a June trip to all six New England states brings us some additions to the Burlington, Vermont collection, as well as Toppy’s very first IDs from the Hanover/Lebanon/Claremont, New Hampshire (“Upper Valley,” to the locals) market. Enjoy – and stay warm!
…for the rest of that April 2005 visit to the ever-so-exciting Columbia-Jefferson City, Missouri radio dial? Well, now it’s here – and maybe now I can get Brian to come do an Extreme Office Makeover on my too-crowded workspace, too!
(And dig the left-channel-only ID action on KZZT 105.5. What’s that about, anyway?)
My inner geek’s all tingly about joining Brian and Lou (and soon, Blaine) in the esteemed Inner Circle of Co-Editing here at Toppy, and for my first entry, I offer the first half of a bunch of IDs recorded during an overnight visit to Columbia, Missouri this past April. More next week, and have a happy Thanksgiving! (And remember, turkeys cannot fly…)
