This time feature clips from stations in Scott’s backyard in Western New York from Greg’s and my archives. Specifically, the markets are Elmira NY, Geneva NY, Ithaca NY, and Utica NY.
Hope you have a happy new year!
Till Next Time

This time, we feature more archives from Greg Coniglio’s collection and the feature state is Kansas, the sunflower state. In July 1995, Greg traveled across the state of Kansas and recorded stations in the Colby-Goodland KS, Dodge City-Garden City KS, Grand Island-Kearney NE, Great Band-Hays KS, Lawrence KS, McCook NE, Salina-Manhattan KS, Kansas City MO-KS, and Topeka KS markets. Five of these markets are new to Toppy! I am not sure, but I believe that Greg recorded the Nebraska stations while he was in Kansas because they are just across the state line.
Hope you enjoy this sample of Kansas and Nebraska stations
We will present more of Greg’s clips in the upcoming weeks. Stay tuned.
Till next time.
Bill
Thanks to Greg Coniglio, we have clips from numerous stations that are new to Toppy. By my count we present clips from eleven different markets. I am not sure if this is a Toppy record for most markets in one posting, but it is surely up there.
They include the Chadron NE (new to Toppy), the Cheyenne WY, the Farmington-Four Corners NM-CO-AZ-UT, the Huntington WV, the Kansas City MO-KS, the Mason City IA, the Pittsburgh PA, the Saginaw-Bay City-Midland MI (new to Toppy), the St. George UT, the Storm Lake IA (new to Toppy), and the Topeka KS markets.
Hope you enjoy this week’s clips.
Happy (belated) Hanukkah, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Bill
This time we continue up the band with some more clips of stations in the Big Apple, including some vintage clips from WABC 860 in the 1930’s.
Till next time, happy listening.
Bill
Today we will start emptying the archives of some neat stuff from the Big Apple from the 1930’s as well as adding some refreshes from the 2000’s. None of the stations this week are new to Toppy, but they are fun to listen to. Check out the clips from WEAF 660 and WJZ 760. Next week, we will continue with some more vintage clips from other NYC stations.
Till next time.

This week we finish up with the Norfolk-Virginia Beach, VA market, and as a bonus we include some clips from the nearby Roanoke Rapids, NC micro-market.
Till next time.
Happy listening.
