Without a lot of big travel scheduled for the first third of 2018 (except of course for NAB next month in Vegas…and are you attending our fabulous Vegas Radio Party?), Lance challenged me to use the winter to take some day trips and freshen up our legal ID audio closer to home base.
And so this week’s update brings you a more-or-less-complete look at the radio dial as it appeared last Sunday in Olean, New York, including some flips that were just a couple of days old (Sound Broadcasting’s move of WZKZ 101.9 and WOEN 1360/96.3 to country “Drive” and the new simulcast of WGGO 1590 with “98 Rock” WQRS in nearby Salamanca). (Our “Olean” market also includes a chunk of nearby northern Pennsylvania, where we had some 2016 material that never got posted.)
Plus there’s a not-quite-complete scan of the Elmira dial from November-December 2017 (it spans the months because we spent the night of Nov. 30 in Corning) – and to finish off the Michigan IDs we’ve been posting, a smattering of stray IDs from the Flint MI and Port Huron MI-Sarnia ON markets we grabbed on the way home from the Lansing trip featured in Tower Site of the Week this week.
