Consider: a half a century ago, there were barely a dozen radio stations serving the entire 100-mile length of Long Island. Now? We recorded more than 40 stations during our two-day visit in July, and that’s not even counting HD2s and translators! The first half of our visit is up now on Site of the Week, and you can hear IDs from the western half of the island now on Toppy, with the rest coming next week.
