Here’s more from my trip last month to Las Vegas. In less than three weeks I’ll be back there again for a stopover for a few days en route to my main vacation destination: Seattle! I’m also planning on hitting Vancouver, and if anyone knows of stations there that legally ID even though they don’t have to do so in Canada, please let me know and I’ll see what I can do.
In Vancouver, the Bell stations (94.5, 103.5, 107.3, 1040, 1070 and 1410), Rogers (107.5-92.5-104.9 simulcast) and CKZZ (95.3) all identify, I know for sure. Others I’m not sure, but will listen.
Hey Lou, send me an email and I’ll be happy to send you a bunch of Seattle stuff I’ve recorded over the past couple years that I haven’t been able to get up here as well as a bunch of updates from Portland, Eugene, a few from Spokane, and some from Rapid City SD. Stations to be sure and get while you’re here since they’ve changed since Bill was here last,
92.5 KQMV has the same legal Bill would have gotten, but they tend to ID at 49 in the commercial break except at 6:00 P.m. I’ve gotten this ID twice.
102.9 new Hot AC format and KYNW call letters.
103.7 also new format and call letters.
Also, on the AM band, KKDZ has a new legal since Bill was here last and 1090 has changed calls and formats. KOMO also has a new legal since Bill was here last and getting back to fm, it may be interesting to some here to hear the KPLZ legal without the Fisher Communications identifier.
