Good news: This week’s update brings a new market to the Toppy family. Lewistown, PA is tucked into the mountainous middle of Pennsylvania, a just-long-enough-to-be-inconvenient drive southeast of State College, east of Altoona, southwest of Williamsport or northwest of Harrisburg.
We’ve been through there a couple of times in recent autumns, on the way to the magnificent ride that is the historic East Broad Top narrow-gauge railroad, 25 miles or so to the southwest near Mount Union, and this week we share the IDs we’ve collected en route. (A few more from the area fall into the nearby Altoona and State College markets, which have been updated this week as well.)
So what’s the bad news? It’s not a complete scan of the Lewistown market; unfortunately, I seem to have misplaced one of the SD cards with the October 2010 IDs on it. If it turns up again, we’ll have a few more IDs to add…or maybe Bill Harms, who’s a little closer, will get back there before we do!
