This week we feature stations from the part of West Virginia (and adjacent Virginia) that John Denver sang about in the popular tune “Take Me Home Country Roads.” Yes, this is the only part of West Virginia that features the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Shenandoah River. There are a total of 13 new clips from the Winchester VA – Martinsburg WV market in this group.
I also added some “new” vintage clips for the Chicago market.
By the way, the actual country road referred to in the song is not in West Virginia. It is called Clopper Road and is located in Montgomery County, Maryland. It still exists, not as a country road, but a four lane highway.
Have fun listening
