As I sit here typing this, I’m looking at my thermometer and it’s down to 46 degrees, and still falling. We could get down into the 30s for the first time this season. Up further north, it may even get down to freezing. All of this means it’s unfortunately time to close up the family cottage in the Lakes Region of NH for the winter. I was up there today taking our small rowboat out of the water, which did involve getting wet, but fortunately with how warm the water was this summer, it was cool, but not painful.
As I was up there this year, I recorded quite a few IDs from the surrounding area. I managed to get quite a few IDs from the stations right in the neighborhood in the Concord-Lakes Region area, as well as Portsmouth. Enjoy all the newness from NH this week. Hopefully next week I’ll be finished with a whole new round of IDs from the state that borders NH to the east.
