This week, we are taking a one week hiatus from the Onesies and Twosies “tradition” started two weeks ago for some interesting clips from the Far North brought to us by two new faces here at Toppy.
Thanks to Larry Godwin, we now have a bunch of road trip clips of Alaskan AM stations from 1960, including a unusual “legal ID” from the AFRS station at Elmendorf AFB. During his trip, Larry visited Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau (New Toppy Market), and Valdez-Cordova (New Toppy Market).
We have Greg Coniglio to thank for the second batch of clips. This is Greg’s first appearance on Toppy, and he has more clips to come! Greg’s clips this week include stations from Anchorage, the Kenai Peninsula (New Toppy Market), and Fairbanks in Alaska as well as legal IDs from stations in the new Toppy markets of Bonnyville-Cold Lake , Grande Prairie, and Red Deer in Alberta.
Hope you enjoy this change of pace.
Next week, I hope to resume with Onesies and Twosies.
Bill
