From the Windy City, we turn back to the desert southwest for the wrapup of our look at the FM dial in Palm Springs, California, a town where there’s still a classic beautiful-music station (check out the KWXY 98.5 IDs) and where the streets are named after Dinah Shore and Dean Martin and Gerald Ford.

(And between my IDs and Garrett’s, I think we’ve got the entire Palm Springs/Coachella Valley dial represented here, save for a couple of relays of LA stations and one pesky FM that apparently has a long tradition of ignoring the provisions of 47CFR73.1201.)
