OK, that has nothing to do with the topic of this week’s update – heck, it’s been years since Mr. Fort Wayne has even set foot in the Big Apple – but it had to be said, and now it has been.
So you’re expecting some Z100 and Hot 97 and, who knows, maybe the last K-Rock ID in this week’s update? Not this week…because, you see, on our January 2008 swing down to the big city, we spent some time hoovering up IDs from all the little stations in the big city, so if you’ve always dreamed of hearing WJDM 1530 or WWRU 1660, well, this is your week!
(At some point pretty soon, we’ll actually complete the AM dial in market #1…stay tuned.)
Thank you for the birthday acknowledgment. I was last in NYC sometime in the late 1990’s, I suppose. Back in the good ol’ days, when CHR music was good.
