OK…as I type this post at the end of the first week of January, weather.com is telling me it’s a balmy 35 and partly cloudy at Atlanta‘s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, going up to 54 and mostly sunny tomorrow. So maybe we should make that “Warm-lanta” instead.
But compared to tomorrow’s projected high of 28 here at Toppy Northeast, that doesn’t sound so bad. (And here doesn’t sound so bad either, compared to, say, next Tuesday’s projected high of 0 – that’s Fahrenheit, not Celsius – out there on the frozen tundra, where all the men are strong, all the women are good-looking, and all the upstart radio syndicators are bankrupt.)
Anyway, our first Toppy update of 2009 brings us almost to the end of our Big Pile of IDs from 2007 – now that we’ve unloaded the last of our Atlanta airport IDs (this one even included a between-flights field trip, chronicled over at Tower Site of the Week), we’ll wrap up 2007 with a bunch of Utica audio next week, and then plunge into the morass that was 2008.
