Oh, no, not that crisis!
But for a political junkie – and I sure am one – this year’s campaign has been a feast of surprising twists and turns…which may explain why, after promising myself I’d actually take a few hours this afternoon to attack the ever-growing pile of unscoped ID tapes accumulating behind my desk, I ended up in front of the TV, flipping frantically between CNN, MSNBC and Fox News while hitting “F5” over and over again on a screenful of political blogs on the laptop.
Sigh. (At least the bag of Cheetos stayed in the cupboard…getting that orange stuff out of the keyboard can be such a pain.)
Fortunately, even as I’ve now managed to fall a full year behind (as of tomorrow) in scoping down my ID tapes, I still have a few in reserve that haven’t made it to Toppy yet.
So from the bounty of ID goodness that is my E:/ drive on the upstairs machine, how about a bunch of IDs from the nether regions of the Atlanta radio market, as taped from the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on the way to and from Big Trip ’07.
And I promise – if there doesn’t end up being a debate Friday night, I will, will, will spend the time getting those Roanoke/Triad/Charlotte IDs scoped down and ready for Toppy.
I’m Toppy Northeast, and I approved this message.
Should that be your E: drive, not your E:/ drive?
DOS, man. DOS!
The trailing slash is the nit you’re choosing to pick?
Christ, if there’s anything wrong there, it’s calling Fox “news.”
Not sayin’, just sayin’.
If I had “Fox News” on my E: drive, my E:/ drive or any drive, I’d be tempted to delete.
