Following up on last week, I have legal IDs galore from Orlando. Some are brand new stations added to the site for the first time, while others are updates to stations from a few years ago.
Additionally, Daytona Beach makes its debut on the site today. There are a couple of stations with Daytona Beach as their city of license that are located on here in Orlando, but they are Orlando-targeted class C blowtorches that aim for and successfully reach listeners in O-Town. This is different — represented here are a few stations that truly target Daytona Beach.
Finally is a one-off from Lakeland that I recorded literally at the one gas station (a BP) on the Interstate 4 exit for Winter Haven (which baseball fans may note as the spring training home of the Cleveland Indians) on the way back to Tampa. That is mostly a dead zone for AM radio, and I only managed to land the one I got because of the amazing power of the RCA Superadio that I own.
Next week from me: IDs from the four stations in Nashville that switched their cities of license in a complicated move by Cumulus to upgrade 106.7 WNFN from a Class A to a Class C3.
