Nashville is a great city. With a unique music scene, a blend of southern culture and contemporary business, and a fun downtown nightlife, there are plenty of activities to serve most anyone.
I grew up in Nashville, and it took moving away to appreciate it. Things have changed over the years. Opryland (the amusement park where I worked for a summer during my high school days in the early 1990s) was flattened and turned into Opry Mills (a massive shopping center) while I was in college in the late ’90s. Starwood, the outdoor amphitheater where I saw the first concerts of my life, bit the dust last year to make way for condominiums.
But this has also come with the revitalization of the downtown area, including the construction of a first-rate sports/music arena (the Sommet Center) and an NFL stadium (LP Field) across the Cumberland River from downtown. I moved back to the Nashville area last year, and I’m glad to be back.
With that in mind, enjoy the newest Nashville IDs.
