One of the nice things about working for myself (running DraftKing.com full-time) is that it allows me more flexibility in travel, as it did last weekend. For the first time since 2003, I paid a visit to the state of Mississippi, traveling with my brother Matt for a weekend in Starkville with friends at his alma mater, Mississippi State University.
Interestingly, Mississippi State actually has its own town designation, and it even has a station assigned to it with Mississippi State as the official COL (city of license), which is included in the update. Along with M-State (naturally under-represented by Arbitron’s antiquated means of judging college populations), Columbus, Starkville, and West Point, MS make up the “Golden Triangle” name given to that region, with some flamethrowers from Tupelo sneaking into the area.
Long story short, you get two markets to enjoy on this one: Columbus, MS and Tupelo, MS. Dig the old-school imaging on the WCPC ID in the Tupelo section.
