So we’ve had another call change at one of the forgettable rimshotters here in the One True Rochester, and just on the off chance that I’m not the only one who cares, I sat here for a few hours listening to the automation play, watching the TV to see if the E-layer ever starts skipping today (not very much, alas), and waiting to grab that shiny new ID for Toppy posterity. Oh my…I am a geek, aren’t I?
Anyway, somewhere in the inevitable “commercial free X number of days” that accompanied the launch of the format du jour over there, the ID didn’t find its way into the playlist, it seems.
Oh well…we’re all human. So we’ll hope to have that ID for you next week, and in the meantime, how about some nuggets from a few recent trips to New York City instead? That’s the WOR 710 newscast announcing that the station’s old towers wouldn’t be torn down after all, from last September. We hear “Jack” doing a Christmas-time legal…in January. And we get a few of the HD2s that do legal IDs. (Soon, they’ll all be required to – hey, thanks, FCC!)
