OK…we have no idea what they really play in the office at Dunder Mifflin, though we’ll give the producers of “The Office” big props for, well, getting the props right, up to and including the “Froggy 101” bumper stickers that decorate some of the filing cabinets on the set.
“Froggy” would be top-rated WGGY, in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre market of northeastern Pennsylvania, and actually, I haven’t rolled any tape on it in a while, since every time I pass through, there’s always something else happening with some of the smaller signals in town.
This week, a sampling from two passes through the region in 2005 and 2006. There’s more where that came from (including a recent trip chronicled over at Tower Site of the Week), but first, one more week of The Great E-Drive Cleanup next week…and then we’ll get going with the Big Trip 2006 IDs (Toppenish! Walla Walla! Tillamook! Ilwaco!)
