In the spirit of keeping caught up with the e-mail submissions, we hereby present the first E-Mail Friday! (The mailbox is dead; long live the mailbox.) Check out newness from:
- Birmingham, thanks to Chris Cuomo.
- Chattanooga, thanks to Chris Haggard.
- Chicago, thanks to Chris Cuomo and Rick Johnson.
- Kansas City, thanks to Chris Cervantez.
- New market Lawton OK, thanks to Mitch Craiger.
- Norfolk-Virgina Beach, thanks to David Baines and Bob Corbin.
- Rockford, thanks to Rick Johnson.
- New market Wichita Falls TX, thanks to Mitch Craiger.
Some highlights include a stunting AM in Birmingham and the three ID clips from Kansas City — impressive mainly because they were caught from 400 miles away in Peoria. (Check out how clean they are, too — tropo is a beautiful thing.)
We’d love to see your IDs here, so check this page out and then start recording! Thanks to all who contribute to make Toppy the great site it is.
Listen closely to the toppy “92.1 WBHH/Moyock, NC & 107.7 WJCD/Windsor, VA March 2004 – Contributor: David Baines.”
The city “Moyock” is mispronounced as “Moy-yack” and not “Moy-yock.” I brought it to Clear Channel’s attention and it was changed shortly thereafter to “Moy-yock.”
I have the version that David Barnes contributed to TopHour.net. I think I have the corrected one too…
Which is why I think they should just change 92.1’s COL to Chesapeake.
Also, more older ID’s are coming soon.
